Tidru ("we", "us") is an AI career navigator that helps you discover roles and map your career. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Tidru at gotidru.com or app.gotidru.com, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up with email or Google, we receive your name and email address. With Google sign-in we receive your basic profile (name, email, and profile picture) — we never receive your Google password.
Profile & career data. Information you provide or upload — your résumé, skills, experience, target roles, locations, and preferences — used to find and rank matches.
Usage data. Interactions with the product (searches, saved roles, applications) and standard technical logs (device, browser, IP) for security and reliability.

How we use your information

To provide the core service: discover, rank, and explain job opportunities for you.
To personalize matches and improve recommendations over time.
To authenticate you, secure your account, and isolate your data from other users.
To operate, maintain, and improve the product.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Tidru, under confidentiality obligations:

Authentication (Google Sign-In, Neon Auth) to sign you in.
AI & search providers to power discovery and matching; we send only the context needed to fulfill your request.
Infrastructure (hosting, database, storage) to operate the service.
When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Tidru and its users.

Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact). We may retain limited records as required for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

Your choices & rights

Access, correct, or delete your profile data from within the app or by contacting us.
Disconnect Google sign-in at any time via your Google Account permissions.
Request a copy or deletion of your data, subject to applicable law.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, scoped access, per-user data isolation) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and respond promptly to any issues.

Browser extension

The Tidru browser extension helps you complete job applications on supported applicant-tracking sites (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, and Workday). When you use it on a job-application page, it reads the structure and labels of that page's application form, the job posting text, and the page URL, and sends them to Tidru's servers solely to generate your application answers and to record that you applied. Your profile and résumé data flow from your Tidru account to the form at your request.

The extension only activates on the supported application sites listed above — it does not read any other pages. We never sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it beyond Tidru's own systems (this is our limited-use commitment). You review every field before it is filled, and you always submit the application yourself.

Children

Tidru is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
